If you are using one of my apps and have any doubts about what I need these permissions for here you can lookup each permission for every app. If have forgotten one just send me an email and I will update these pages.
rilato
The app rilato uses the following permissions:
- android.permission.NFC: This permission should be very obvious for an app using NFC to transfer data (WiFi Configurations).
- android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE:
This permission allows rilato to check if your device has a mobile
network connection and therefore can be used as a hotspot. Some options
will be disabled if not (since they make no sense in this case).
- android.permission.CHANGE_WIFI_STATE:
This permission allows rilato to switch WiFi on or off an device.
Before a device starts to tether it needs to switch its client side WiFi
connection off and if a device receives a WiFi Configuration it makes
sense to enable WiFi. Also it is not possible to add new WiFi
configurations to a device if WiFi is disabled.
- android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE:
This enables rilato to determine the current state of the WiFi
connection to check if it needs to activate it or not.
